It’s fall.. and the single people are on the hunt to find a cuddle buddy for the winter season. So, as this time of year peaks with first dates, skip the traditional dinner and a movie – BORING! Opt for something a little more creative. Remember, date numero uno can make-it-or-break-it!

Below please find few fun and unconventional first-date ideas in and around Las Vegas, NV.

Wine & Design

Loosen up  and tap into your inner artist with Wine & Design. Whether it be a glass or two of Pinot Grigio while painting Van Gogh’s “Starry Night” or a sip of Cabernet Sauvignon while painting a photo of your puppy, there is nothing more enjoyable than a night of art class, drinks and food. You’ll go home with memories and a masterpiece.

Vegas Indoor Skydiving

Sure, skydiving sounds cool, but do you really want to jump out of an airplane? If not, Vegas Indoor Skydiving may be the best option for you and your date. You’ll get to experience the sensation of flying and free-falling, minus the actual falling part – you’ll only be a few feet above the ground, suspended in the air by winds up to 120 mph.

Decadence in the Desert

Every month, Ethel M Chocolate Factory & Cactus Garden hosts Decadence in the Desert, an event featuring music, food trucks, local artists, and of course, chocolate. Enjoy some sweets with your sweetie and take a leisurely stroll through the three-acre cactus garden.

The High Roller

Take in views of the Las Vegas Strip on the world’s tallest observation wheel. If you’re a Nevada resident, you get a 50% discount off your ticket! Afterwards, explore the shops and restaurants along the LINQ Promenade. There’s even a 24-hour Sprinkles Cupcake ATM where you and your date can get your dessert fix.

Red Rock Canyon

Want to get out of the city? Red Rock Canyon is just 17 miles west of the Las Vegas Strip, but offers stunning desert vistas and opportunities to hike, climb, and bike your way across the area. If both of you are too tired from a night out on the Strip, you can also take the 13-mile scenic drive, which is open year-round.
