Today's ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Joshua Wade 

When did you become interested in Art?

I have always been interested in art. However, it wasn't until college that I began creating art on the scale I do today!

Who is your favorite Artist? Current or historical

I have a couple of favorite artists. I know it's a little cliche but I have always loved the works of van Gogh. Banksy also makes me super happy–I love using art to make a statement!

What is your favorite painting to teach at W&D?

I love any rendition of Starry Night, mermaids, crabs, and Ozzy the Ostrich.

How long have you taught at W&D?

I have taught at W&D(MHC) for just over 2 years and loved it since day one.

What are your hobbies?

In my spare time I coach a Speech and Debate team. I spend lots of time investing in students to create a better tomorrow.

What is your favorite color?

Purple

I spend most of my time working with some amazing kids. They keep my on my toes and help make every day a new adventure.
