Director of Marketing and Programs
What was your first job growing up? Or what career goals did you have as a child?
So as soon as I could work, I started as a Barista at a New Orleans Coffee House - PJ's Coffee and Tea. What better coffee is there than New Orleans chicory!? Although full of energy by genetics, a few more cups of Joe is always my first choice!
Write about a recent adventure or travel experience.
I just took my family (husband and 3 kids, ages 1 to 10) to NYC for a full authentic Big Apple experience. From cabs with no car seats, trekking up the Empire State building, visiting Chelsea Market, fancy dinners, famous bakeries, museums and touring Central Park - it was a trip of a lifetime.
What effect does art have on you?
Art changes everything- From perspective to thinking out of the box. ANYONE can do ANYTHING if they are taught. I've always been an absolute lover of art (thanks to my mom's collection and her friends) and so sharing ART on a daily basis with people of all ages, backgrounds and skill sets is such an inspiring experience. You truly ignite creative processes and smiles each and every time!
If you could be a cocktail, what would you want to be?
Definitely a straight up extra dirty vodka martini. I like my art crazy full of color but my drink strong with no sweetness!
What is one item off of your bucket list?
Making People Happy. Although technically- it will never be off my list- it's a forever bucket I love to carry.
