We paint fun art and not fine art but sometimes we take note of what is going on around us and what is important in this world. The inspiration of this art came from Marvels' strong and powerful film Black Panther. We became interested in the spirit of this movie and it was our desire to create a painting that gives tribute to the cultural significance of the film and the character Shuri as the genius behind Wakanda's power. After all, she is the intellectual creator behind Wakanda's gadgets and technology of his warrior suit. Shuri plays also a significat force to want to heal people and she does it with spirit and humor. Imagine, a young black woman being the smartest woman in the universe.
