Feeling like you need a little art therapy, but not looking for an artist-led class? Then come to our Open Studio! In Open Studio, you can paint whatever you'd like - choose a painting from our calendar or come with your own image and plan! Reservations are REQUIRED. If reserving with a gift certificate, please email us at [email protected] and we will happily assist you with your reservation!

Pre-sketched canvases of images on our calendar can be accommodated with at least 48 hour's notice. Please indicate which painting from our calendar you would like pre-sketched in the comments of your order or email us! Otherwise, we will provide you with a blank canvas, brushes, paints, and pencil. once here, you can browse our paintings at the studio for inspiration, paint whatever you'd like, or trade in your blank canvas for one from our previously sketched canvases from our selection!



This class is NOT an artist-guided class. Staff will be present to help you get started and provide occasional guidance, but they will not be instructing you through each painting step. They will, however, be your biggest fan and cheerleader along the way!

We offer food, wine, beer, cider, and non-alcoholic beverages for additional purchase. We also allow BYOB (no hard alcohol), but a $5 uncorking fee applies. This is strictly enforced, NO EXCEPTIONS! Click here to view our food and drink menus

Doors open at 530pm - the earlier you arrive, the more time you have to get creative! Please note that we lock our studio doors 15 minutes after class begins to prevent disrupting the class. Those arriving more than 15 minutes late will not be able to join the Open Studio Session.

To ensure proper seating arrangements - if paying individually - please indicate how many are in your party and the names of the guests so we can be sure to seat you with your party. Include this information in the comments section at the time of your order or send us an email! All ages are welcome. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

WE ARE LOCATED IN SHOCKOE SLIP ON E. MAIN STREET. Parking can get very busy, so please allow yourself enough time to find parking and arrive at least 15 minutes before class starts to settle in and order your food and beverage!

Street parking can be found on E. Main Street (in front of Aubrey Richards Boutique, The Exchange, and Andre Julius) or on nearby parking garages). Skip parking & use ride share; we are conveniently located on the bus route!

ALL SALES FINAL - we do not issue refunds. To receive a class credit, please notify us at least 2 hours in advance if you will be unable to attend. No-shows or those arriving more than 15 minutes past the start time do not receive a credit. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we will pack your canvas(es)/paints or craft supplies in a take home kit. Class credits are valid for 60 days following the originally scheduled event.
