Q: How does Wine & Design work?
A: We are a paint & sip studio who puts the ART in pARTy! At Wine & Design, we provide 2-hour instruction painting class by our professional artist! All in-studio events include a free glass of wine or beer. Additional glasses or bottles may be purchased at our bar.Our artist will teach you step-by-step through the painting while you get to sip on your beverage. By the end of class- you get to take home your finished masteripiece! All painting materials, instruction, aprons, brushes and FUN are included.
We now offer bisque ceramic pieces to glaze and we fire it for you to a glossy finish! Ceramic times are Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays 1pm-close (times vary at closing...call for times and appointment) Prices are between $10-up depending on piece. We are all inclusive (meaning one price covers glazing, firing, the actual piece plus studio time)
Q: Do I need to reserve my seats in advance?
A: Yes! To reserve your seats for an upcoming class, please visit our online calendar and click on the painting class you would like to attend. Please add the number of tickets you need to your cart & continue to check-out. Payment is required at the time of registration. Q: Can I pay at the door?
A: If you would like to pay at the door, please call the studio to make arrangements. Your seats are not guaranteed or secured without payment. We may hold your seats if you would like to pay at the door; however if the class sells out, payment is required. Please arrive 10 minutes early prior to class for check-in and payment. 352-461-0799
Q: How do I sign-up for a class using a Gift Certificate, Credit, or Frequent Painter Card?

Q: How do I use a coupon/discount code?
A: Please create an account with us online during registration. Coupon/discount codes are not valid for specialty classes, private parties, paint your pet, ceramics or pre-discounted classes.
Q: How many people do you need to have for a private party?
A: There is a 8 person minimum for an Adult Private Party at our studio ($35 per person for a standard painting. More for specialty classes. Ceramics is $7 per person plus the price of the ceramic piece). There is a 10 child minimum for an Art Buzz Kids Private Party ($25 per child). There is a 15 person minimum for an On Wheels event at your desired location. If the minimum number is not met the night of your party, you are still responsible for payment of those seats.
Q: What if I have less than 8 people for a party?
A: If you have a small group under 8 people, it is recommended to join a class on our calendar which is open to the public! We are happy to seat your group together at one table. Please advise all guests to put your name/group name in the Comment Box, so we now to seat you all together. Q: What is the cost?
A: The cost is typically $35 per person for Adult Wine & Design canvas classes & parties whichi includes a free glass of wine or beer. The cost $25 per child for all Art Buzz Kids classes & parties. The cost is $45 for a Paint-it-Forward Fundraiser ($10 each painter donated to your cause). The cost is $65 for Paint Your Pet/House classes. Some specialty classes (bottle painting, wreaths, wood cut-outs, wood pallets, male model night etc) range in price $35-$45+ and up. Q: Any other charges I should know about in advance?
A: To book & secure your private event, please call our studio to confirm event details, contact information, and complete deposit payment of $35 (1 seat) for adult party; or $50 (2 seats) for kids party. We are happy to customize a new painting for your event, for a reasonable artist customization fee ranging from $50-$75.
Q: How long is the party/class?
A: All events are 2-hour long instruction class. We also recommend a 30 minute social/arrival time, for everyone to check-in, pour themselves a beverage, and mingle before we begin painting.
Q: What does the ticket price include?
A: Wine & Design provides a pattern/ pre-traced canvas per person, artist instruction, music, all materials, a beverage, games and fun. Our professional artist will teach you step-by-step how to create your own masterpiece! A glass of Wine IS included!
Q: Do you sell alcohol, wine, beer, or food? Is wine included?
A: The first glass of house wine or beer is free! We have bottles and glasses to purchase after your first free glass. We are BYOB but only beer or wine as spirits are not allowed due to our license. Soda and water is always free! There are no restrictions on food. You may bring your own finger-foods, snacks, or choose to have your event catered. Some of our off-site location "On Wheels" events at restaurants are not BYOB, but you may purchase beverages/food at the location, depending on the venue.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Cancellation policy: In order to receive a full value gift certificate you must call 48 hours prior to the event. No show/no call= No credit. If there is a threat of inclement weather or if the event has low attendance, it may be subject to cancellation. In this case, you will be given a credit to attend a future class of equal value.
For Private Parties, We have an 10-day cancellation policy. If you cancel outside the 10 days, we are happy to reschedule your event or cancel altogether. If you decide to cancel your event within the 10 days, there are a few options for you!
- Reschedule your event to a different date.
- Open your Private Event to the public, so anybody can join! We can still seat all friends in your party together at one table.
- Join a class on our calendar, and we can seat your group together at one table.
Q: How do I book an event?

Q: Can I pick the painting or craft?
A: Yes! As the organizer of a private event, YOU get to choose the painting, ceramics or other craft. You may pick 1 painting for your event, the artist can teach 1 painting at a time in the class. We will be in touch closer to the date of your event to confirm your painting selection. If a ceramic party is requested, it is $7 a person plus the price of the piece selected. Everyone can choose their own ceramic piece.
Q: Do you have kids paintings?
A: Yes, we have hundreds of kids paintings! These paintings are simplified, bright, and colorful for kids of all ages. Popular paintings for kids are animals.
Q: Can my party guests pay separately? Can they pay at the door?
A: Yes guests may pay separately. Once your event is on our calendar, we will email you the registration link and Private Event Code, that you can give to your friends to access your event to complete their registrations & payments online. If they would like to pay over the phone, please have them call 352-461-0799 or they may stop by. All attendees must pay in advance. Hostesses are responsible for relaying this information as we do not have your party list to contact your group.
Q: Do you have Kids Camps?
A: Yes! Art Buzz Kids is a Kids Division of Wine & Design. We offer Summer Camps, Seasonal Camps, Teacher Workdays, and Holiday Workshops. All events are listed on our online calender, under Public Events & Art Buzz Kids section.
Q: Do you have group discounts?
A: Sometimes! For larger parties over 30+ people, please call the studio to inquire about a party for your event and elaborate on details of your event.
