FAQs for Private Parties & Public Classes
Q: How does Wine & Design work?
A: We are a paint & sip studio who puts the ART in pARTy! At Wine & Design, we provide 2-hour painting classes with step by step instruction from our talented, professional artist! All in-studio events are BYOB (bring your own beverage) Wine/Beer and food/snacks (no hard liquor). Our artist will teach you step-by-step through the painting while you get to sip on your favorite beverage. By the end of class- you get to take home your finished masterpiece! All painting materials, instruction, plastic cups, bottle openers, and ice buckets (bring your own ice) are included.
Q: Do I need to reserve my seats in advance?
A: Yes! To reserve your seats for an upcoming class, please visit our online calendar and click on the painting class you would like to attend. Please add the number of tickets you need to your cart & continue to check-out. Payment is required at the time of registration. If you are unable to complete your payment online, please call the studio to register over the phone. 816-875-9707
Q: Do you have to be at least 21 years of age to attend a class?
Q: How do I sign-up for a class using a Gift Certificate or Store Credit?

Q: How do I use a coupon/discount code?
A: Please create an account with us online during registration, then enter specific coupon code that has been provided to you. Coupon/discount codes are not valid for specialty classes or pre-discounted classes.
Q: How many people do you need to have for a private party?
A: There is a 7 person minimum for an In Studio, Adult Private Party. ($35 per person, $245). There is a 10 child minimum for an Art Buzz Kids Private Party ($25 per child, $250 total). There is a 10 person minimum for an On Wheels event at your desired location. If the minimum number is not met the night of your party, you are still responsible for the payment of those seats.
Q: What if I have less than 7 people for a party?
A: If you have a small group under 7 people, it is recommended that you jcoin a class on our calendar, open to the public! We are happy to seat your group together at one table. Please advise all guests to put your name/group name in the Comment Box, so we know to seat you all together. Q: What is the cost?
A: The cost is typically $35 per person for Adult Wine & Design classes & parties. The cost is $25 per child for all Art Buzz Kids classes & parties. The cost is $35-$45 for a Paint-it-Forward Fundraiser (25-33% donated to your cause). The cost is $45 for Paint Your Pet classes. Some specialty classes (wreaths, wood cut-outs, ornaments, etc) range in price $35-$45+ and up. We sometimes offer $25 & $30 special classes on our monthly calendar. Q: How many people can you accomodate?
A: Our studio can hold up to 34 people. We have two painting areas that can be seperated or combined. Our large painting area seats 24 people, while our small painting area seats 10.
Q: Any other charges I should know about in advance?
A: To book & secure your private event, please email our studio to confirm event details, contact information, and complete a private party form. We are happy to customize a new painting for your event, for a reasonable artist customization fee ranging from $10-20.
Q: How long is the party/class?
A: All events are 2-hour long instruction class. We also recommend a 15 minute social/arrival time, for everyone to check-in, pour themselves a beverage, and mingle before we begin painting.
Q: What does the ticket price include?
A: Wine & Design provides a pre-traced canvas per person, artist instruction, music, all painting materials, bottle openers, plastic cups, and ice buckets. Our professional artist will teach you step-by-step how to create your own masterpiece!
Q: Do you sell alcohol, wine, beer, or food? Is wine included?
A: No. We are a BYOB (bring your own beverage) company. All in-studio events are BYOB. You may bring wine, beer, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, along with your own food. No hard liquor is permitted at our location. There are no restrictions on food. You may bring your own finger-foods, snacks, or choose to have your event catered. Some of our off-site location "On Wheels" events at restaurants are not BYOB, but you may purchase beverages/food at the location, depending on the venue.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: If you need to cancel your reservation for a class on our calendar, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy. To recieve a refund, you must cancel more than 24 hours in advance.
For Private Parties, We have an 10-day cancellation policy. If you cancel outside the 10 days, we are happy to reschedule your event or cancel altogether at no charge!
Q: What is your inclement weather policy?
A: If a class is cancelled due to weather we will either reschedule the class to a later date, or give you a store credit to use toward another class.
Q: How do I book an event?
A: To book & secure your private event, please email our studio to confirm event details, contact information, and fill out a private party form. Once the party is booked, we will add your event to our online calendar and email you a contract: Going over party details, registration link to send out to your guests, and paintings link to view our Wine & Design gallery.
Q: Can I pick the painting?
A: Yes! As the organizer of a private event, YOU get to choose the painting. Once everything is booked, we will place your event on our online calendar. We will proceed by emailing you a link to your event, providing a private access code that will allow you to view our gallery of 5,000 + paintings!
Q: Do you have kids paintings?
A: Yes, we have hundreds of kids paintings! These paintings are simplified, bright, and colorful for kids of all ages. Popular paintings for kids are animals. Once you book your child's party, we will place your child's event on our online calendar. We will proceed by emailing you a link to your event, providing a private access code that will allow you to view our Art Buzz Kids gallery! You & your child may look together to pick the best painting out for their event!
Q: Can my party guests pay separate?
A: Yes. Once your event is on our calendar, we will email you the registration link and Private Event Code. You may send the link and code to those attending, so that they may access your event and complete their registrations/payments online.
Q: Do you have Kids Camps?
A: Yes! Art Buzz Kids is a Kids Division of Wine & Design. We offer Summer Camps and other special camps throughout the year.
Q: Do you have Date Nights?
A: Yes! Each of you paint your own 16 x 20 or 10 x 20 that fits together. The cost is $50, which includes both participants, so you will only need to purchase one ticket.
Q: Do you have group discounts?
